South Dakota and Vacation

August 13, 2016 by Adrienne

We’re in South Dakota at my parents’ house. After a very long trip to get here overnight last night, we got here just before 6am this morning. Blaine got to come with us this time, my grandparents are flying in next weekend, and the kids are so super excited to be here and all that comes with being at Grandpa’s and Grandma’s. Elliot is convinced that means ice cream. We might have to go to the store because… I’d hate for her to be disappointed. For sure.

The trampoline is up, bikes dot the yard, bean bag toss is set up, and we’re on vacation, holding on to the last weeks of summer before we start back to school when we get back home. No agenda is a beautiful thing.

In Elliot’s words as Blaine was packing his clothes… “It’s gonna be awesome.”

Sounds like Grandma and Grandpa have fun things for the kiddos to do. Hope you all have a wonderful vacation and safe trip home. ENJOY!!
