Ruby turned 14 on Saturday. After busy Labor Day weekend made us struggle to get a campsite for that night, one opened up and, while we had to move sites (the fifth one in seven days – we’re getting good at breaking camp!), we got to stay in this campground at least. Boondocking on her birthday didn’t sound thrilling. Liberty came down from South Dakota for the week, arriving in the wee hours of Saturday morning. We made sticky buns and a raspberry dessert, swam at the lake, made s’mores, and Ruby proved her advanced age by requesting a new wallet and a coffee cup for her birthday! It was a fun day.
Yesterday we moved to our sixth and final site in this campground, and we’ll be here until Friday before we switch campgrounds. The place has cleared out after a busy weekend. The silence is golden.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY RUBY!!!
Bummer! I thought you all could stay in one place for 10 days. I know you are so anxious to get in a house. I sure do admire you for having to do what you do.
PRAY you find a house and land very soon.
