Lachlan Hyde is three months old today. He’s smiling all the time these days. He sleeps 6-8 hours through the night in a bassinet. He cringes when he sees big brother Creed coming. He’s not impressed with the magnitude of love Creed shows for him. He loves Momma best and barely tolerates everyone else. He and I have some great “conversations” though. He coos and “talks” to me often. I love it.
And, to commemorate his three month ‘birthday’, I finally have no lifting restrictions. I’m six weeks past my surgery and have healed well. I hadn’t been able to hold 30+ pound Creed in three months. I’m so glad that’s over. He looked at me so strangely when I picked him up tonight. I think we both missed that.

Three months old and 30 pounds? What? He looks so happy.
Adrienne says
Creed is the one who is 30 pounds, sorry. Lachlan was 13 pounds a month ago. He’s filling out, but definitely not that fast. Creed is 18 months.

So good to hear from you and know that you are healing well from the surgery,
Although only you know if or how much you are looking forward to it, you now probably (almost certainly) will be Grandma. My granddaughter was 8 last March and she and my daughter visited last summer. Granddaughter saw all the phones on the coffee table ( some for magicjack, some for drone control and some retired with old pictures on them. She asked,”Grandpa, why do you have so many phones?”

What a sweet smile! Funny at such a young age he knows his favorite person. Ha!! So glad you are doing good.
You must be feeding Creed real good. Haha!
Adrienne says
Creed eats EVERYTHING. ? He loves food! (Except beans. Consistently. Whole and cooked, refried, mashed… he always knows. It’s so funny.)
