This is the truck Blaine drives every day. He hauls grains from fields or elevators to ethanol plants and grain companies. The kids have almost all gotten to ride along once or twice.

Liberty (18)  works at a local grain elevator and has gotten to drive a semi a few times. She decided to get her commercial driver’s license so she can do that more. She passed her permit test this past week. The elevator will have her driving with them in the semis and teach her what she needs to learn to get her license. I can’t even imagine my “little” girl in a semi. (You know, all 5’8” of her, taller than me and one semester from finishing her business accounting associates degree.) If anyone can though, she can. She’s determined and oh so capable.

Love this! How exciting! Congrats, Liberty! Love watching (and reading) from afar. Hope you all have a Happy New Year.
