Eden, Sterling, Ruby, and Charlotte went to Bible camp earlier this month. Eden drove them the six hours across South Dakota, with some minor detours because her map reader fell asleep and her sister got car sick… fun times. They had a great week and made it home in one piece with only one horrific “you could have all died” story regarding a couple semis taking up both lanes in a two lane highway coming at her at 70 mph and in the end the one ducked behind the other, both in her lane, she ducked into the left lane, and they all passed each other in the wrong lanes entirely. It’s good I wasn’t there.
Creed is changing like crazy. He’s moving like crazy and desperately wants to walk. He loves Charlotte best and wore her watch for days before some fancy trading convinced him to forget about it so she could have her watch back.
He’s standing up on everything. Getting into EVERYTHING. He’s giving me a run for my money lately. I’m tired and he’s determined.
And he loves food. Cheesy sausage penne was a huge hit. We’ve ditched bottles completely, he’s sleeping through the night or crying out but settling himself in seconds, and he wakes up super ready for breakfast.
I love him. And I’m tired.

You mentioned that the map reader was not working. I have had a Garman nuvi GPS for a long time and it always works. Battery in it is dead but it runs off the 12 volt car socket.

Her map reader was Sterling, who is fantastic with maps but fell asleep. She had a phone as well, but it lost service. A Garmin would have been super helpful!

Oh my goodness!! How scary that was. Thank the LORD their guardian Angels were with them. I really can’t imagine.
That boy is an explorer it seems. Funny! Looks so cute asleep in the recliner.
I can imagine you are TIRED!!!
