May 2021: so many changes coming.

May 6, 2021 by Adrienne

Charlotte finally saw an orthopedic surgeon Tuesday. She’s in removable wrist braces that go just partway up her arm now. So much better! She’s feeling little pain and antsy to be back to regular life again. She’s super over the unlimited kindle privileges and just wants to do things for herself again. She’s limited to lifting 5lbs for the month, so that’s not happening just yet. She gets new X-rays on the 27th and we’ll see about her coming out of the braces. He expects her to need a couple more weeks in the right but be done with the left at that point.

There’s a lot of changes happening here right now. I’ll get it all typed out in the days to come as details become more solid, but for now, we’re wrapping up the school year this week, and making big plans for the future. Exciting, scary, and hopeful – but so many details to iron out.

Thank the LORD Charlotte is doing as well as she is. Hopefully at least one brace can come off very soon.

Oh my, you have me in suspense. Can’t wait to find out what is happening. Get those fingers typing soon. Hahaha!!! My first thought was are you moving to another state???

Big changes? The first thing I think of is that you are going to move to another state. I will keep watching for your emails. Good to hear that Charlotte is healing. I fell off my bike 3 days ago and whet body surfing on a sloping concrete driveway about 8 pm Saturday evening. Cut hand and strained wrist and lots of pain that night and could not use my right hand to write the next day. About 85 to 90 percent recovered now in less than 70 hours so I consider myself lucky for an old man.
