A couple sickies and one well fed boy

November 5, 2016 by Adrienne

We’ve had a strange, quiet week. The kids and I went to the harvest party at a local park Saturday, Sunday afternoon I noticed spots on Elliot’s hand, Sunday night she ran a fever briefly, Monday she was fine. Tuesday afternoon Pierce started spots, never got a fever, and they are finally spot free again. Hand, foot, and mouth is my Dr Mom diagnosis. I’m pretty sure we spread the virus to several friends before I knew we had it. I HATE knowing we got others sick, no matter how minor the bug. Ugh. We’ve circled this HFM block three times to my recollection, and while this one was minor compared the one two years ago, I’d rather be done with this particular bug, thank you very much.

Wednesday my parents came for a visit. We’ve had fun. The kids have played more games of bean bag toss with grandpa than I can count, and the board games have never seen so much daylight as they have this week.

I got a new wagon. Foldable, fits under my back seat, sports my cup holder clip from my stroller fabulously to add a couple more cup holders(. We typically have nine water bottles to haul so… cup holders are pretty important.) My new toy goes through a corn maze remarkably well. I love it. I’m selling my double stroller. It’s a moment in motherhood. I’ve had a double stroller for a lot of years now!

Stellan loves food.

He also loves baths. Good thing! (And I’m pretty impressed with the Munchkin 360 Miracle Cup… For the record.)

He also gets to wear a pink bib. Because… Five sisters. You know.

It’s a tough life.

Love the picture of all of them. The wagon is a neat idea. I have seen those at Sam’s but I don’t have a need for one. I do like them though.

Oh my, That boy likes wearing his food as much as eating it. Hahaha! He sure looks happy!
