June 5, 2015 by Adrienne

We’re camping this weekend in South Dakota with my parents. My sister went back to Nevada earlier this week and the kids and I are here for a pioneer/Indian Wars reenactments and a wagon train reenactment before we head back south to Missouri early next week.

Tents, teepees, toy tamahawks, and skunk skins… Way too much fun!

S’mores, anyone?

Temper, temper.

Ellie has anger issues. Clearly. In other news, she’s starting to walk on her own.

I love to visit reenactments. They are SO much fun.

Miss Ellie looks like a drama queen.

Miss you all very much and can’t wait to see you next week. Have lots of fun while you are away:)

Oh, that looks like fun. The kids will have great memories from all the fun stuff you do! I guess SD reenacts different history than VA does. I used to do Civil War reenacting. Soooo much fun! I’ll bet Blaine is ready for y’all to come home. The house must be sooo quiet with 7 little people away. lol And, I’ve got to hand it to you and your sister. I can’t believe how y’all can load up a van full of young’uns and head off across the country. Y’all must be SD tough or something! I love it!
