Sewing bored.

September 14, 2014 by Adrienne

Blaine is traveling for work this weekend and part of next week. Tonight, at 10pm when all the kids were asleep, I sat on the chair, not sure what to do with myself. I dug around for the closest matching fabric I could find without waking Ellie mere inches away, raided the bias tape I just got from my grandma, and made this:

Deciding it was on the small side, I made another.

And now that baby has a few bibs, I’ve told y’all about it, and baby’s gotten her midnight milk, maybe I can sleep now. This whole alone thing is rather boring – even with eight of us in the house!

Your sewing machine didn’t wake her up??? You are very creative to make things so quickly.

I dragged the sewing machine to the kitchen. Only my fabric stash was near her… and in the shed, but heading out there in the dark was enough to make it not worth sewing last night, so my options were limited to what I have inside. She slept. I had fun – until nearly 1am. Now I’m exhausted!

Cute bibs Adrienne. I am amazed at your drive, and your skill.
