It’s been a crazy busy month… of finding new norms. Eden and Kevin come for supper often, and have taken kids for evenings and overnights some too. Everyone loves that. I get texts of girls with facial masks, boys shooting guns, and rundowns of foods eaten and movies watched.
We made our traditional pretzels for Reformation Day. I love having “we always” things. Kevin jumped in to make them too. He’s fitting in like I’d have never thought to hope for even. I’m thankful. I introduced him to someone as my son in law the other day. That was weird. Super weird.
Trixie is growing and testing my patience often. I have a mean rooster I’d hoped would teach her to leave poultry alone but so far Trixie is winning that war. I broke out the shock collar. Trixie loves chasing roosters more than she hates the shock.
Creed is super cool and he knows it. His siblings dress him like a doll.
Charlotte is testing out her new camera often. I love seeing her work.
I’m done working at dispatch. I miss it more than I expected. I’m working about 20 hours a week running the bus route and have a big yellow bus in my yard all the time these days. Getting to pretrip in my yard and getting paid from my yard back to my yard is really cool.
I’m also refereeing volleyball for the YMCA and for the family recreation center. That’s been fun… with a few super fun moments thrown in when Blaine worked late on a night that we went there straight from co-op and I had eight kids at the YMCA well into game time. Creed is fast. One team offered to play him when he escaped his sibling’s notice. He’d have been up for it. Mortified. That’s all I have to say about that.

It is so good to hear from you. You are one of the busiest people. Ha!!
Good to read your son in law is fitting in so well.
Where is Blaine working? I can’r recall that he had found a place to work.
Thanks for the update. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Blaine’s been working for almost a year now for an animal feed company that is in many of the towns in Missouri. It’s much like a grain elevator.
Happy thanksgiving to you!

So good to know that you and yours are doing better than a few months ago. And Happy Birthday to you tomorrow, 17 Nov. Forty years old. That is easy for me to remember because it is a special day for us also.

What side of MO are you on now? We are casually looking around for different areas as they are bringing a casino in here and we want out before that shows up. MO is on our list of possible states ! Hope you are well!

We’re central, near Jefferson City. We’d love to have you closer!
