Creed: 3.

May 16, 2023 by Adrienne 1 Comment

Creed James turned three on Saturday. Third birthdays have to be pretty much my favorite. He was so excited, starting to understand what it all means, and everything is so much fun. We spent the morning at a safety expo and got to climb around around fire trucks and ambulances and see some pretty fun stuff when you’re three. Ruby made him a super cool cake he hasn’t stopped talking about.

Creed is just shy of 40 pounds, in the 90% for height and weight for his age, and wearing 4T and 5T. He talks non stop and asks a thousand questions a day. He’s sleeping in a bunk bed in the boys’ room these days but magically ends up in my bed frequently. Sweat pants “pet pants” are his all time favorite and putting on blue jeans is his least favorite part of leaving the house – followed closely by the having to leave the house. He makes it an hour tops before he asks when we’ll be going back home. He is his father, through and through.

The daily statement I say most to Creed: don’t mess with things that don’t belong to you. Getting into things is his specialty. One of the girls told me that three can’t possibly be harder than two. I have a feeling this beloved child can totally prove her wrong. He cannot help himself.

He’s so much fun.
