Welcome to misery.

August 14, 2022 by Adrienne

We’re in Missouri at a state park. We picked up a bug somewhere and have spent a couple days passing germs around. Everyone has gotten sick at this point and some are feeling much better. I’m hopeful that the rest will improve quickly.

The church we’d intended to visit will have to wait. We spent the day with fevers, headaches, stomachaches, body chills… full on flu. It can go away now. I’m done.

Other than that, we arrived in Missouri without incident, we spent time with friends for a few days before getting a campsite. It’s been good to have a rest, but these hammocks are getting a far better workout than bathing suits or beach towels.

Tomorrow is another day.
