I finally updated my “this is us” page with new photos and info, adding Creed and Lachlan. It was smidge behind! You can find it here if you care to see.
We’re almost all sick. My mom seems mostly well, and Lachlan remains well, but the rest of us are feeling entirely crummy. It’s rather sad timing with a newborn. I’m thankful Lachlan seems to be able to avoid it while breastfeeding. Coughing with a large stomach incision is not for the faint of heart. So much pain. While we haven’t gone in to see if it’s covid or something else, Dad has been joking around for a while that no one has thanked him for bringing the bug home. Ruby took the bait and left him a lovely note last night. His response is at the bottom. I love the sense of humor that emerges in my children as they grow.
“Dear Grandpa, Thank you for bringing the Chinese Bat Flu to us. We are really enjoying it! It was the most thoughtful gift you could have given us. Thanks!” “You’re welcome. I do believe it is right to share. Love you, Grandpa.”
It’s been a rough week. But Lachlan is sleeping better, he’s nursing well, and everyone seems to be feeling some better from what they had been dealing with. I’m hopeful we’re on the mend again.
Oh no!! I sure hate you all are sick. Pray you are on the mend. Bad enough for one or two to be sick but almost everyone… Mercy!!
My goodness your kiddos have changed so much I did not know some of them. WOW!! They are getting so grown up. Way too fast!!! Loved the new pictures of everyone. Except you. No picture of the mom. HA!!
We plan to do family pictures one day soon, but until then, I’ll stay on the other side of the camera. Postpartum isn’t pretty! ?
Thanks for posting everyone’s picture but what about yours? Hopefully your recovery is going well.
