We get the moving truck at 10am. Going to be a long day. We’ll head north likely Friday, giving us two days to pack it. And the horse trailer. And the camper. Liberty gets to pull the horse trailer. I’ll pull the camper… or drive the moving truck with the pickup on a trailer behind it. Fun times.
Elliot packed the bread machine. I told her to label it. “How do you spell bread machine?” “Sound it out.”
She did great. ❤️
And because it’s funny how names of things stick, that box beneath is labeled Dora boxes. Years and years ago, I had found two cloth sided baskets on clearance. They had Dora the Explorer on them. We kept hair stuff (bows, ponies, brushes) in them for probably a decade before I decided to update the containers that sat on the bathroom shelf. I bought some cute grey chevron baskets instead.
They still get called the Dora boxes. All. The. Time. Dora is nowhere in sight, but if you need a hairbrush, you look in the Dora boxes. That have grey chevron on them.

I’ll certainly be praying for each of you as you navigate driving and towing trailers. A bit daunting in my book, I’m sure you’ll all do fine. Safe travels.

I have no idea where in SD you are going but I don’t think it is Belle Fourche where I learned how to square dance in 2012. Sounds like you and the children have your work cut out for you today and tomorrow and especially during the trip on Friday. I suppose you will leave early and try to get there before dark.
Fortunately this is June and lots of light.
Here is advice. Do not drive over 55 mph at most, especially on down hill slopes. There are reasons why military convoys travel at 45 mph. Good luck.
