We left Missouri at 8pm Saturday. What followed was one of the longer nights of my life, but traffic was light through Kansas City at midnight so… small mercies. We stopped and slept in a truck pull off area for a couple hours at 3am and made it to my parents about 2pm Sunday. No issues. I’m still not sure we’ve caught up on sleep. I was so swollen when we got here I could barely walk.
This morning Blaine, Liberty, Eden, Sterling, Ruby, and Pierce headed back with the horse trailer for the last vehicles and things. They’ll be at least three days, likely more with two days of driving. No one looked forward to that last trip, but being done with moving will be good.
I’m trying to get the camper cleaned and organized. No small feat considering it holds much of our lives for the next months.
Creed, first full day we were here and he had squishy carpet to play on, crawled for the first time. He’s slow about doing it again but he’s so close now.

Thank the LORD you arrived safely. I would never had made it driving during the night. I can get up at 3 or 4 A. M. and head out but not leaving out at bed time. Ha!!!
Bless you with the swelling. I know it has been hard on you.
Now you will have to find a doctor. Trust you find a great one.
