Homecoming was last weekend. I’m slow. I’m not really sure what happened to this week.
Eden is a freshman this year and got to join Liberty for homecoming. There was much dancing, music, food, and fun. I workee security again this year so I got to be there. I have to keep an eye on them!
I had to do their hair too. Easier said than done! We had trial runs for a week before and still ended up with something entirely different in the end. Eden’s mass of hair boasted 86 bobby-pins. But it stayed up all night!
Liberty is a sophomore and this was her second year to go. She’s the quiet reserved one that wasn’t thrilled with the social setting. She handles herself with grace beyond her years though, and I think she even enjoyed herself. Her tiara is one I wore to my wedding. I love to think back, laughing at what I didn’t know then. So many things.
My girls are growing up. It happened so fast. Days can be long, but the years are so short.
No way! Liberty looks much older. She really favors you in this picture. Watch out mom and dad. Boys will be coming around way too soon. Put a brick on their heads to slow them down. Haha!!
Beautiful girls. Liberty said she enjoyed it, but I bet she still would have rather been on the back of her horse. And Charlotte, I think the boys have already been showing interest 😛
They look so beautiful. Liberty’s resemblance of you is more obvious but there’s something about Eden’s face in this photo that reminds me of you. I think it’s the smile.
Must be so weird to find your kids are all grown up! The girls aren’t taller than you yet, are they?
They aren’t! I’m 5’ 7”. Eden is 5’ 2” and Liberty is 5’ 4”.
