One purse project… turned headache.

My sister in law has a very cool purse. I’d admired it this summer and when I saw it again while they were here for Christmas, I decided I needed to make one. It has been something like four months since I made my last one and Christmas money was burning a hole in my pocket, apparently. But I love purses… especially ones big enough to hold a diaper and wipes and wetbag so I can skip taking a diaper bag in wherever I go. So… I set to work and came up with this. (Excuse the less than ideal Kindle camera image. I’m feeling lazy and not getting out the regular camera.)

One project leads to another and I decided I needed a matching wallet. That stinking thing took three times the time the purse did, led to one scrapped wallet and making up my own pattern for the second time around, but it’s done. And I’m not sure I love it. And I put the pen loop too low so the pen looks upside down. But… it matches.
