The swing that Uncle Brian hung in the tree in our front yard a year and a half ago has been used on a nearly daily basis by many small children. Today, it bit back.

Ha! I have a similar photo of my daughter in the same tangled position. Her friend was here, came to get me, and was horrified when I grabbed the camera before heading outside. My daughter didn’t have quite the same smile on her face, though. More of a get this over with scowl.

I actually went without the camera, suggested it when I saw the mess, and Liberty agreed she’d wait. 🙂 Ah, the memories.
