The kids and I went for a walk/bike ride on the local trail the other day. Creed is getting really fast on his little pedaless bike. I love how quickly they can learn to ride this way. I totally recommend those!
Now if he’d learn that the face he makes when told to smile isn’t actually a smile…
We ventured down to the lake at the campground that started our two months in the camper on the 4th. That was a really weird feeling. We spent two weeks last August there, clueless as to what the future held. It’s better we don’t know, I’ve decided. We had fun swimming. The two littlest boys both learned to trust their life jackets and floated happily. It was a great day.
Also, the sun was shining!
Life continues to pass in strange fashion. I work a lot. Sleep a little. Do as much as I can when I can. We signed up for a local co-op that starts in September. It is mostly extracurricular, but above all, I’m hopeful for friends, for both myself and for my kids. I’ve agreed to teach a sewing class, and possibly early childhood development. I got each class day approved off. I hope it gives us some normalcy, and something to look forward to.
I dug out school books today, and started to make a plan. Elliot and Pierce went to work on their math already. Strange children. I’m super grateful they understand the sooner they begin the sooner they finish but oof. I don’t want to give up my break just yet!

Looks like they had fun from all the smiles. Summer is flying by.
Did Blaine find a job yet? I bet you will be a great sewing teacher.

Hopefully no zebra mussels in the lakes there. They certainly destroy looking forward to a fun day of swimming.
Strange those two children are starting math up during their summer break, but good for them!
