My house is wrecked. My degree of overwhelm is high. Just do the next thing.
So, I took Pierce to meet our new pediatrician today. Refilled his meds, all the while hoping he doesn’t have to finish this bottle. The ped is going to call neurology in St Louis and make a referral, while trying to switch his meds before we get him in. The Keppra rage is a real beast, and it’s making life miserable.
I went to the library. Worked for a few hours on my laptop with the free WiFi. My job is ending, but the end date is unknown as of now. I can’t decide how I feel about that, or if I’ll pursue something similar. Got new library cards. We get to use two different library systems here, free. It’ll make tracking due dates harder, I think, but between the two, we have a huge resource at our disposal. I’m thankful.
Our internet connection is still pending. Our yard is flagged by several utility companies. Creed thinks they put them there for him. Mini plastic flags are so tempting when you’re two. Blaine took precautionary measures and took photos of them and their placement. Please, can come and lay lines soon so this is no longer a temptation?
Supper didn’t happen until 9pm tonight, when i finally got home from town. This is becoming a trend. I so look forward to the day that our day stretches before us without obligations other than school and work. Even simpler, I look forward to being able to walk across my house unimpeded by boxes. The truck was empty and returned late Saturday night though.
Tomorrow: more boxes. Some school. One foot in front of the other. Do the next thing.

You just have to take it day by day or maybe hour by hour. You can only do so much in a day. I know you want it done NOW. I sure would. HA!!
GOD BLESS you all with this project. At least it is home.
Are you all any where in the area of where you used to live? Same town?

We’re about three hours from our old neighborhood. Definitely still learning the new area! I’ve gotten lost almost every time I’ve gone to town for groceries. I’m so thankful for smart phone maps right now!

What is the Keppra rage? Sounds like you are getting settled in. Thanks for the update.
Adrienne says
Keppra is the anti seizure med Pierce is on. It’s known for causing rage in children, along with a whole list of side effects, many affecting personality. We’ve seen a good bit of that here. I despise the drug at this point, but when it’s helping too… double edged sword.
