Creed got a buzz cut. It started out as a scissor trim, but wiggly boy just wouldn’t sit still, and the results were less than thrilling. Off it all came. He grew up several years just that fast. Add to that he’s crawling everywhere and pulling to stand and he’s becoming a full blown toddler quickly.
I met my new doc today. She was nice, floored by my pregnancy history, and I think she’ll be a good fit for delivering this baby. I’m thankful. I had to do my gestational diabetes screen… didn’t know that, didn’t eat as well as I’d have chosen had I known, but we’ll see. Results back tomorrow. I had gd with Creed, a first for me. Really hoping not to have to do that again. The doc asked where we’d moved from and said welcome back… I hadn’t said I was from here originally. She quickly said, “It is back right? You didn’t get that accent from Missouri!” I have had people in Missouri ask where my accent is from, but I had no idea it was so strong Midwest. Funny.
Blaine and the kids drove overnight Saturday and got back Sunday. The trailer and truck are still getting unloaded. So much, so little storage space, and so many tired people. It’ll be good when that’s over.
The kids seem to be loving being here. They’re riding bikes like crazy, have the little pool blown up and are pink from the sun. Good times.
Everything else waits. Blaine will get a job once we finish the craziness. He celebrated his birthday Monday. Liberty turns 18 on Saturday. That’s a weird milestone to hit as a momma. Beyond all that, life is weird and we are at a standstill of sorts. Waiting for the next thing, whatever that is.

Thank the LORD your family made it back safely. I know you are very grateful for that.
Glad you have found a doctor you think will be good.
At least Creed should not need another haircut for a good while. Haha!!
