Merry Christmas!
It’s been a fun week of no school and Blaine home from work. All in all, quite lovely. It snowed last weekend and left us with a white Christmas. It’s since melted, but the kids had a blast in it until then.
Christmas Day was a blast. We opened gifts, made a big meal, and hung out. I made these hoodies for the girls. I’m impressed with myself… and I learned from a friend that I NEED a Silhouette machine. Amazing, I tell you.
Blaine suggested twice baked potatoes for dinner and it turned into far more than he anticipated. But they were fun. And delicious. And kind of ugly… by again, delicious.
The day was just our family, but it was lovely. We had a feast, read of the birth of Jesus, and had such a great day. The knowledge that my years of all my children home, together, for these holidays could be limited as my children get bigger hangs in the back of my mind. I’m holding on to these days.
Back when the kids kids entered the thanksgiving coloring contest at the feed store, Sterling and Ruby pooled their winnings and bought ME a gift. I love it.
I hope and pray each of you had a great day as well, and were able to celebrate the birth of our Savior with ones that you love.

You all had a real good CHRISTmas day I would say. So nice to have a good day at home and enjoy the family. Those potatoes look yummy to me. The pics are precious of the kiddos.
Your littles did a good job getting you the necklace. That was so sweet.
May you all be Blessed with a Healthy, Happy 2018. Thanks for sharing all your cute stories. Love reading them.

I took them with my phone. I’ve just learned to take about fifty and hope for one good one! ?
