In one week (not this week, I don’t keep up well enough), one little boy went for his first solo ride on a 4-wheeler.
He also starting crawling.
A couple other little boys enjoyed our version of a swimming pool, aka an old stock trough.
Another little boy wasn’t so much into the swimming, but he thought the outfit was alright!
We started haying. Here they are getting a tractor ready to hook up to the baler. *Note the darn sheep that followed everyone to the shop?
Going to cut hay.

Someday those boys will realize how fortunate they are to be raised on a ranch. What a beautiful view you have.

Thanks, but I wouldn’t count on them thinking that they are fortunate, at least not until they are 30… About the time it is 100+ degrees and they have go help get cows back in or when it is 0 out and blowing snow sideways and the cows need fed, They are not so impressed with this life! 🙂 It does certainly have benefits though too.

Ah, yes, life on the range – and in the mountains. You are blessed – even if it is a bit on the arid side.
