Happy thanksgiving!
We spent the day yesterday at Silver Dollar City with friends. I set myself up for a whole lot of cooking to do today. But… we got it done. It was just us, and we continued our tradition to do appetizers around 11-12 and then eat turkey later. For appetizers, I made fried pickles, artichoke dip, and fruit salsa. Supper was fried turkey, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin, cream, and vinegar pies wait for us still because we’re all full. But… it was a great day. I have much to be thankful for. Each of the children prayed before supper, naming what they are thankful for. It was sweet to hear and encouraging to notice the maturity in the prayers of my children as the older ones prayed. They are a gift.
Happy thanksgiving!

How sweet for each child to pray. That is a precious tradition. Seems you all had a good couple of days. One of entertainment and one at home celebrating Thanksgiving. NICE!!
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
